At Ocean Adventures Dive Charter Inc. we provide charters that cater to Divers, Wreck Divers, Freedivers, Fisherman and those adventures that would just simply enjoy a personal tour of the local waters.  Our vessel, "Springtide" is a fully equipped 27 - foot Mako, with custom tank racks, custom dive ladder, speargun racks, and all of the newest electronics to quickly get you to your favorite dive site and ensure your experience is truly an adventure.  Search and recovery operations can also be booked for recovery of personal valuables or small vessels.

New for 2006*,  We have upgraded or vessels engine this year to a 2006 Evinrude E-Tech 250,  so we can quickly and reliably get you to your favorite dive site to ensure your experience is truly an adventure.  I have also added another bank of tank mounts so we can now mount 11 tanks, to include doubles and rebreathers.                                  Bass Rock Narragansett RI

Wreck Diving Charters, Dive the U-853: 

Explore this Type IXC German U-Boat that was sunk on May 5, 1945 by the USS Atherton and USS Moberly.  This vessel rests in 130 feet of water just off Block Island and is a great dive for those divers who just wish to examine its outer hull or the adventure diver who wants to perform a penetration dive deep into the inner sanctum of the U-Boat.

Spearfishing Charters:

For those Spearfishing fanatics, we provide both half and full day charters.  Enjoy a day of hunting big Stripe Bass around the waters of Block Island and explore other hot spots located all around the Rhode Island coastal waters.  The picture to the right is Marissa Balasco.  She is an avid freediver who recently beat the women's Freediving Spearfishing World Record with this 42 lb Striped Bass.  Here's a few of the record fish she's shot while hunting Block Island with our charter.

Fishing charters can also be booked for half and full day trips.  Our vessel is fully equipped with a tuna tower, downriggers, pole mounts, torpedo tubes and electronics for those avid fisherman from novice to experienced who wish to go after the largest of species.
